Information by User Type
For NGO's, Universities, Municipalities and Businesses
You can use JICA-Net, if you belong to an NGO, University, Government or Company that is affiliated to JICA, to complement your JICA activities.
For more information of the JICA, please visit JICA's Homepage.
Please note that you may not use JICA-Net depending on the condition of each item and characteristic.

Types of use
Some examples of use are as follows.
maru International Exchange Program in Schools
You can increase mutual understanding in real time and through direct communication with developing countries. Persons from elementary school students to adults have used our service.

According to the activity goal of development study, our service is used for distance lectures and local discussion from Japan and seminars by combining opinion exchange with lecturers.

FAQ
Q Can I implement video conferencing or distance lectures with a foreign organization or university using JICA-Net facilities?
A You can use JICA-Net in your activities if you belong to an NGO, University, Government or Company that is affiliated to JICA. For more information, please contact the JICA headquarters or overseas office and apply for your request.
 
Q Can I use the lectures and contents that were used for JICA-Net, in my company or school?
A In general, lectures and multimedia contents are used for JICA affiliates only because of copyright restriction. However, we may approve the request within JICA regulations if it is for non-profit purposes. For more information, please contact the JICA-Net team.
 
Q We have useful contents (lectures and multimedia contents) and know-how for JICA-Net activities. Can I participate in implementation of distance lectures using JICA-Net or creation of contents?
A We may publicly offer contents using JICA-Net. For more information of public offering, refer to our Web site.
Q Our company is registered as a JICA consultant. Can we propose to use JICA-Net in our project proposal?
A Yes. However, you must get approval from JICA to use JICA-Net. Please confirm this with JICA staff that is in charge of the project in advance.
Q We are planning to have an international video conferencing exchange program with a foreign school as part of international understanding. Can we receive your support with JICA-Net?
A JICA can support your activities if it fulfills JICA activities. For more information, please contact the JICA-Net team.
