@The multimedia-based teaching/learning materials of JICA-Net deal with important themes or issues in JICA's activities. During FY2004, JICA began to develop this series with the aim of developing technical cooperation content that has wide applications in JICA activities and helps to develop the capacity to deal with different themes/issues. In developing this series, a total of 23 thematic task forces and teams at JICA took the lead in forming the concept of each set of materials and played an active role in the materials production process. In this way, JICA intends to improve coordination between JICA-Net and JICA Knowledge Management so that their educational content will be improved and used more widely.

Teacher Learning Together

 - Japanese Teacher Training System and Lesson Studies -

 

Outline: This video consists of two sections. The first section, called the System Section, provides an overview and explanation of the in-service teacher training system in Japan. The second section, called the Practice Section, explains the significance and perception of lesson studies and the system that makes them possible.
